Welcome to my profile, I offer clinical supervision and creative therapy using the arts via telephone, chat, email and video. I have a passion for supporting people to expand and grow through constructive challenge with support. I work with creativity (metaphor/imagery) in psychological change and emotional regulation.

About me and my practice
I started my online practice in 2016 and expanded this to include online clinical supervision in 2020.
In addition to traditional talking therapy/supervision I am able to work with metaphor, written word and other art mediums.
I offer:
Creative therapy for:
- self exploration (awareness raising is 1st stage of change)
- Emotional regulation: working with containing, expanding and noticing, labelling and expression of feelings )
- examining personal boundaries and thresholds for tolerance
- deep exploration of relational threads (present/past) this can include trauma bonds (i.e. emotional instability in relationship)
- endings, loss, adjustment and new beginnings
Wellbeing facilitation (non clinical) for:
- Building resilience through wellbeing models (5 Ways to Wellbeing, Maslow, Gestalt)
- self-care / strength and resilience building
- goal setting to include motivation and mobilisation
- excitement, happiness and fulfillment
Clinical supervision (individual and group)for:
- trainee therapists on accredited training programmes working towards qualification. This will include signing of supervised practice hours, exploration of therapy models and case management/reflective practice.
- newly qualified therapists building up practice and working towards accreditation. This can include discussion around setting fees, admin systems, set up and policies and procedures.
- experienced therapists: offering a space to reflect on practice, consider professional development and professional goals as well as process any importance therapeutic dynamics.
I am also happy to facilitate peer / reflective practice sessions (to include article review, topic specific sessions)

I have worked in adult health and wellbeing for over 15 years across a whole range of settings.

Over the years, I have been taken aback by the strength and resilience of people experiencing some very challenging life moments. I have a good understanding of emotional/psychological dysregulation, trauma in relational bonds as well as the process of change for examples those experiencing a significant life transition or adjustment. I am passionate about people's natural tendency towards wellbeing and the process of change. I only offer support to adults (age 18+).
As a manager of wellbeing services, I have developed a rich knowledge of wellbeing models which have proven helpful. .
As a supervisor, I have supervised therapists who are in training, newly trained and experienced in both group and individual settings online and in-person.
Qualifications
I am constantly developing my skills to meet professional requirements and also as I simply love learning!
My core qualifications & Professional trainings are:
- Diploma in Clinical Supervision for in-person and online supervision (2022, Online Counselling Services & Training). This includes Email, Text, Telephone and Video. I recommend that supervisees have supervision in the medium they are offering therapy in.
- Online Counselling (2016, Online Therapy Institute). This included text, telephone, video and email mediums.
- Integrative Arts Psychotherapy ( 2008, Institute for Arts in Therapy & Education, Metropolitan University). I am trained in talking therapy and creative therapy (sandtray, written word, image and mark making and movement).
- B.Sc (Hons) Psychology (2002, Birkbeck College). This has provided me with an understanding of human development, neuroscience and self-regulation and growth.

Initial Consultation
I appreciate that choosing the right therapist and supervisor is essential. Do drop me a line to arrange a brief chat to explore if what I can offer fits your need
I ask all new clients to complete a new client intake form and to sign consent and confidentiality agreement. This gives you an opportunity to tell me anything that you feel is important and to ensure a shared understanding of how we might work together.
If you do decide to progress then I would ask you to complete
- client intake form for new clients
- supervision agreement for new supervisees
In addition, I will share my consent and confidentiality forms.

Fees
Therapy sessions:
Telephone/Video: £75/ 50 minute session.
Email: £75/ 50 minute writing session (48 hour response window)
Some concessionary fees are available
Supervision sessions:
£112.50 for 1.5 hours clinical supervision
